Marriott Riyadh is one of the largest luxury hotels in Riyadh, known for its comfort and Arabian hospitality. In June 2011 the hotel marked opening of a new restaurant “Terrace Grill Restaurant” with the aim to update and refresh its dining offer. The new restaurant was conceptualized as a modern American steakhouse, offering high quality beef cuts, chops and seafood.
Glass Studio‘s designers worked with restaurant’s opening team on the tabletop design that would compliment the restaurant’s menu and also give a bold statement to the decor. In the aim to create truly unique and memorable tabletop, our team developed custom design for the restaurant’s show plates.

The custom design features an imprint of an image of a bull on a bold black background, created using Glass Studio’s unique technique of icon application.

The icon of a bull in motion is very powerful and dynamic, and gives the tabletop a bold look that makes any additional accessories redundant. It is also a perfect match for the restaurant’s menu centered on steaks and grills, and foreshadows the culinary journey that lies ahead for the restaurant’s visitors.
