About St. Regis Doha
St. Regis Doha launched a little over a month ago (in March 2012) and already became one of the must-see destinations in Qatar, for those seeking exclusive and customized luxury hotel experiences. The hotel was named as the “Middle East’s Leading New Hotel” and “Qatar’s Leading New Hotel for 2012″ at the annual Middle East World Travel Awards, held earlier this month in Dubai. The new property earned its accolades by offering 336 luxury room and suites, Remede Spa, signature butler services and 10 restaurant and lounges, including two venues by Gordon Ramsey and highly anticipated Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Glass Studio collaborated closely with hotel’s opening team on designing dinnerware for several dining venues. Today we present to you our dinnerware designs for the hotel’s banquet service.
Banquet dinnerware designs
“The Grand Ballroom” at St. Regis Doha is hotel’s ultimate location for grand celebratory events. The ballroom is spacious and provides elegant and graceful ambiance, ideal for memorable events.
Our designers incorporated the shapes and patterns from our signature “Pearls Collection” as the main theme. The design of the show plates and bread & butter plates feature soft, irregular shapes and seashell-like pattern, playing between clear frosty glass and metallic brown color. The soft and elegant color matched the decor of the venue and accentuates its elegance.

Other tableware designs for the banquet service included glass sugar holders, amuse bouche dishes, napkin rings and ‘Lazy Susan‘ tabletop centerpieces in the matching metallic brown color. Our designers achieved creating tableware that matches the style of the venue and helsp create festive banqueting experience.
